Prominent SAP Users Group Engaged Indaba Group to Revamp Their Web Portal to Deliver Better User Experience and Personalized Content
SANTA BARBARA, CA–(Marketwired – June 15, 2016) – CloudCommerce, Inc. (CLWD), a global provider of cloud-driven e-commerce and mobile commerce solutions, today announced that its subsidiary company, the Indaba Group, recently partnered with The American SAP Users Group (ASUG) to debut a beta version of their new portal at the annual Sapphire Conference.
The Sapphire Conference is one of the largest global business technology events, hosted by SAP and ASUG. It allows attendees to connect with the community that uses SAP software every day, learn about digital business strategy, get more from technology investments, and explore the full array of SAP, SAP Ariba, SAP Fieldglass, SAP Hybris, SAP SuccessFactors, and Concur offerings all in one place.
ASUG is celebrating twenty-five years of facilitating education and connections in the SAP ecosystem, topped off by a wildly successful annual conference, Sapphire. ASUG has helped to create thousands of lasting partnerships between its members, and continues to drive innovation for and on behalf of their members, the American SAP Users. Held May 17-19, 2016, this year’s Sapphire conference welcomed 17,000 attendees to Orlando, FL.
Ryan Shields, CEO of Indaba Group, commented, “Indaba’s long running partnership (since 2012) with ASUG is a clear demonstration of the benefits of collaborating deeply together, and providing relevant products and services to better meet the needs of the growing ASUG community. Additionally, as a member of ASUG ourselves, Indaba continues to drive innovation through intentional and educational activity in the SAP and Hybris community.”
During the conference, attendees were able to view a special beta preview of the new ASUG web portal created by Indaba Group. While attendees viewed the new web portal, ASUG was able to gather critical account information from its users in preparation for the site launch. Beyond collecting this valuable information, ASUG also received very positive feedback from its users around the new site and the personalization that is promised to come with it.
Indaba Group took a three phased approach to redesigning ASUG’s web portal, which offers its users an updated user experience and more content personalization. The new web portal will also streamline users’ access to new content and event registration. Phase One took a comprehensive look at the site’s users and worked to understand how current users wanted to interact with the site. Phase Two focused on an extensive creative and technical discovery to solidify all necessary requirements. With the information gathered in Phase One and Phase Two, Indaba Group created wireframes, UI/UX designs, and a style guide that will be integrated into the development of the new web portal.
Phase Three initiated the development of the web portal, which will connect with SAP’s By Design software as well as the JIVE event software. With a desire to show its users what they can expect from the new web portal at its annual conference, ASUG tapped Indaba Group to create a beta site as a preview of the full web portal currently in development.
The new web portal is expected to launch in late July, 2016. Indaba and ASUG continue to exemplify the Indaba Way of collaboration, innovation, and growth — since 2012.
